Guys, do you have house plants? I have none, and up until a few days ago, they really weren’t my thing.  But then we got this little Christmas tree, and it sat in an empty corner in our living room, and I got really used to having it there. I took it down yesterday and now the whole living room feels absolutely naked. Has that ever happened to you?  Anyway, now I think we need a house plant.  But I have absolutely no idea what kind to get.  My mom keeps a huge potted Rosemary plant on the counter in our kitchen all winter, I’d love something like that.  There’s so many plants I don’t know about though, it’s too hard to choose!  So that’s where I need your help.  My house plant owners- what kind do you have? What kind should I buy? I have a big sunny spot, so sunlight will be no problem. Do you think that means an orange tree is feasible??

Aaah… I’m a little late, but happy new year to you all! I’m not very good about taking time to reflect on the previous year, which is why I got lazy about doing a wrap up post for 2011. But I suppose I should be more excited, a lot did happen this year. We moved . We traveled to three new countries. I started working for myself.  And I started this little blog. In fact, this little blog turns 1 today. Part of me is proud, and the other part just wants to keep moving forward. There’s so much more I want to do in this space, it’s hard to feel like I’ve accomplished enough this year. But if I had to pick a New Year’s resolution I know I should make, it would be to be less hard on myself. So I’m going to attempt to feel good about all the work that’s gone into this! And really, what makes me feel the best, is all of you who take the time to read, comment, and tell me what you’re cooking. It’s awesome.  So without further ado, here’s a quick look back at some of the most popular posts from the year. Here’s to much more in 2012! xx
