Up until this morning, I could not remember for the life of me when I last hopped on to Pinterest simply to seek inspiration. Sure I’ll pin away here and there, and make a point of being intentional about the pictures I’m choosing (a whole social media lesson in and of itself), but today I was really craving a quiet moment or two to simply soak up what I was looking at and focus on the images that really stirred something in me. I needed to get my hands on some actual inspiration. So here a few images that made me want to act, travel, and try something new….
I’m secretly looking forward to Valentine’s Day, not for any specific romantic reasons, but simply because I love all the pinks and reds. These balloons, the tights, and the festive bun to top it all off- I’m in love with it.
I love a good frosting drizzle. Makes me want to get in the kitchen and make a bundt cake. Doesn’t this one look so deliciously thick? Also, who knew an antique pie tin could make such a beautiful serving platter…
I could use a serious dose of warmth and sunshine in my life these days. These flowers and white washed wall make me want to pack my bags and hop a plane to LA. You’re no joke, January….
On the flip side… I do have a serious thing for heavy neutral sweaters against black bottoms. This one is utterly dreamy.
That’s one thing I’ll never tire of, a really solid homemade Caesar. Those leaves! Don’t you want to dive in? Adding a killer Caesar to my must make list, and will of course share the recipe here.
Oh how I aspire to be more effortlessly chic… and go darker with my hair. At least I’ve got the aviators down…
