From a young age, Clara possessed an uncanny ability and desire to bring order, efficiency, and impeccable design to all that surrounds her- from her work to her home, and everything in between. After graduating with honors from Johns Hopkins University, she pursued a career in marketing and event planning, gaining invaluable experience in marketing, digital media, branding, and event planning. In 2011, she ventured out on her own and founded Clara Persis, LLC, a boutique-consulting firm that specializes in helping brands form sincere and influential connections with their audiences, whether that be through an event, a social media platform, or a marketing campaign.

In addition, Clara also runs the food and lifestyle blog, Channeling Contessa. Launched in early 2011, Clara initially started her blog as a way to stay creative outside of her day job. It has since grown into a go to resource for recipes, entertaining, inspired living, guidance on how to start your own business, and more for tens of thousands of readers each month.
